Will tonight ever end?
The night is really dragging. I’ve only received three calls all evening and I’d much rather be busy talking to clients than sitting here twiddling my thumbs or scribbling on my notepad. Not only do I make more money but also the time goes so much quicker when I’m chatting away. I’ve only been working as a phone sex operator for about three months. Before that, I worked as a customer care operator for a big bank. The evenings used to fly by there because there were so many people calling in with complaints about bank charges or mistakes on their statements. I prefer the job I do now because it is so much more interesting but when the lines go quiet there really isn’t much I can do. It can be frustrating sometimes because there is no point in starting to read a book or anything because the phone might ring again in five minutes.
